BIOGRAPHY

Aichen Lin was born and raised in Taiwan, a city influenced by Chinese, Japanese, and Western culture. Her work is fueled by a facination with vision and her interest in establishing unexpected connections between objects, places, and people. Her art, through visual exression on not only from photography, but also creates the site specific installation. Aichen's work has been seen in Taiwan, San Francisco and New York. Currently she lives and works as a freelancer in New York City.

關於創作

一開始是好奇, 接著一步一步往回走, 到最初駐足的地點, 我目不轉睛停留的有趣行為。
那是母親削著的鉛筆, 是父親拆解機器的雙手, 還有他們望著我的眼神。鹿港,舊金山,
紐約, 不同的地點嗅著悶熱, 潮濕, 刺鼻, 強光, 抖縮, 每每往返, 強烈反差。這些是我
重新組合的記憶,記住的美好。
